Step back in History to celebrate the anniversary of the 1834 Sacrament between Anne Lister & Anne Walker at York’s Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate.

This 1 hour guided walk explores not only the women in Anne’s life, but her many passions including literature, architecture, learning and her deep affections for York itself.

Beginning at Holy Trinity at 11am, you’ll be led on a whirlwind journey of places Anne visited with access to well known locations (and special guests) which bring her vivid journey to life.

All funds raised will go towards “Keeping the gate open” as the church urgently raise £30,000 for restoration works to the original main gate entrance and brick arch way which dates back to 1700s and stood during Anne Lister’s and Anne Walker’s visit in 1834.
