Les Itinérantes - Live in York

  • Holy Trinity Church Goodramgate YO1 7LF (map)

Join Holy Trinity Church with a curated selection of traditional repertoire and contemporary works by Les Itinérantes. Featuring music inspired by the medieval visionary Hildegard von Bingen alongside composers such as Farnaz Modarresifar and texts by 19th-century Syrian poet Mariana Marrache. Blending influences from folk, chanson and early music, the trio craft performances that are intimate and expansive, inviting audiences into a journey through voice, story and sound.

Les Itinérantes - Manon, Pauline and Elodie - are celebrated for their ethereal, haunting vocal blend, performing in over fifty languages, from ancient dialects to newly imagined tongues. Rejecting the traditional concert format, they move through the performance space as they sing, surrounding audiences in an immersive and atmospheric soundworld.
