Implant Dentistry: A Study Club Evening with Dr Adam Glassford

  • Andrea Ubhi Dentistry Goodramgate York, England, YO1 United Kingdom (map)

A discussion-led study club with Dr Adam Glassford exploring when implants are appropriate and when referral is the right step.

Replacing Missing Teeth: Dentures, Bridges, or Implants?

Join Adam Glassford for an informal evening study club focused on one of the most common (and sometimes uncertain) questions in general practice:

This relaxed, case-based session is designed for general dental practitioners and dentists who refer (or are considering referring) implant cases.

We’ll explore:

  • When implants become a sensible option for your patients

  • Common referral triggers in general practice

  • Failed bridges and when spans become too long for tooth-supported solutions

  • Managing loose or poorly tolerated dentures

  • Clinical decision-making: what can be done vs what should be done

  • How and when to involve an implant clinician

Bring your own cases if you’d like — the session is discussion-led and shaped around real scenarios from practice.

This is not a lecture and not a sales event. Just dentists, around a table, talking honestly about cases and decision-making.
